These terms govern access to and use of the we-chain.com website. By accessing the site, you agree to comply with them.

Purpose of the site

we-chain.com is an informational website. It describes the WeChain platform, its modules and its use cases, and allows you to contact the sales team.

Access to the WeChain platform itself, and its use during an event, are not governed by these terms. They are the subject of a separate contract between CHAIN and the event organiser.

Access to the site

Access to the site is free of charge. Connection and equipment costs remain yours.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site available at all times, without this constituting an obligation of result. Access may be interrupted, in particular for maintenance, updates or in the event of force majeure, without giving rise to compensation.

Use of the site

You agree to use the site in accordance with the law and with these terms, and in particular not to:

  • disrupt or attempt to disrupt the operation, security or integrity of the site;
  • access or attempt to access parts of the site not intended for you;
  • systematically extract or reuse all or part of the content, in particular by automated scraping, for commercial purposes;
  • submit, through the forms, content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringes the rights of third parties.

Contact forms

The information you submit through the forms must be accurate. It is processed as described in our privacy policy.

Submitting a form constitutes neither an order nor a contractual commitment by either party. Any commercial relationship is the subject of a separate written proposal.

Intellectual property

The site and all its elements are protected by intellectual property law and remain the property of CHAIN or its partners. Nothing in these terms may be construed as granting a licence or right of use over those elements.

You may consult, display and print the site’s content for your personal or internal use. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

The site may link to third-party sites over which CHAIN exercises no control. These links are provided for information and imply no endorsement of their content. CHAIN accepts no responsibility for them.

Liability

Information published on the site is provided for information purposes. It may change and constitutes neither a contractual commitment nor advice.

CHAIN cannot be held liable for indirect damage arising from access to or use of the site, nor for the inaccuracy or temporary unavailability of any information.

Nothing in these terms limits CHAIN’s liability in the event of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or in any case where the law prohibits such limitation.

CHAIN may amend these terms at any time. The applicable version is the one published on the site at the time of your access. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the courts of Strasbourg have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory rules applicable to consumers.

Under articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, a consumer may refer a dispute free of charge to a consumer ombudsman. The European online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
