Privacy policy
This policy describes the processing of personal data carried out on the we-chain.com website. Use of the WeChain application by attendees at an event is a separate processing operation, governed by the contract concluded with the organiser of that event.

Data collected
Data you provide
When you complete the quote request or contact form:
- name and email address (required);
- company, telephone number, event type and message (optional);
- the interface language, so that we reply to you in it.
When you book a demonstration, the slot and the information you enter are collected by Calendly (see “Processors” below).
Data collected automatically
For security and operational purposes, our host records technical connection data: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type and operating system.
We use no analytics or advertising tools on this site.

No data is used for automated marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.
Retention periods
- Quote and contact requests: three years from your last contact, in line with the French data protection authority’s guidance on commercial prospecting.
- Technical connection data: 12 months at most.
- Accounting records relating to a contractual relationship: 10 years, as required by the French commercial code.
Recipients and processors
Your data is accessible only to those people at CHAIN responsible for handling your request. It is not sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
We use the following processors:

These providers act on CHAIN’s instructions, under processing agreements compliant with article 28 of the GDPR.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of the processors above are established in the United States. Those transfers are governed by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission and, where applicable, by those providers’ certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies and trackers
The we-chain.com website sets no analytics, advertising or social network cookies, and does not use your browser’s local storage.
The Contact and Pricing pages embed a booking module provided by Calendly. That module may set its own cookies, governed by Calendly’s privacy policy. If you would rather those cookies were not set, write to us directly at contact@we-chain.com instead of using the module.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights over your data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability.
To exercise them, write to contact@we-chain.com setting out your request. We reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested where there is reasonable doubt as to your identity.
If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL: 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France — cnil.fr.
Security
Traffic to and from the site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to the requests we receive is restricted to the people who need it in order to respond.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to the applicable regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
